MARKETING CAMPAIGNS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD
What a great and timely marketing campaign from Jeep. I absolutely love it when brands get it right and I’m on of these people that love to share fantastic creative – ‘The Great INdoors’ campaign from Jeep, Australia is just that. This is the first brand campaign that has in my opinion got it right amidst the Coronavirus crisis. Well done Jeep.
Ultimately Jeep is about aspiration and exploration. Off-roading and discovering the unknown. It’s not like any of us can off-road right now, we’re isolated at home with no where to go – we’re not allowed to go anywhere.
But that’s not true. Not in the eyes of Jeep. They are quite clearly telling me that I can discover new things right from the comfort of my home and I can make an experience of it.
I looked at these ads and actually breathed a sigh of relief. As a marketer I felt proud of my fellow marketing colleagues who came up with this amazing representation of life as it is now. I felt that they had hit the nail on the head, rather than trying to fit Jeep brand into this new way of living – they embraced where we are now showing that they cared about their consumer.
As a consumer, I was impressed – they were putting my needs first and making this horrendous situation a creative adventure, an opportunity to learn and experience and a chance for me to do all the things that I’ve been meaning to do.
So I think Jeep deserve a round of applause. Well done.
